Shaping Early Childhood Education Through Evidence & Learning – Tanzania

Delivered a National-level assignment to facilitate the design of a future education program in Tanzania. Commissioned by the Creative Associate International in Washington, DC, conduct a rapid assessment of the early childhood development landscape for pre-primary and lower-primary (Grades 1-4) in Government Schools.

Phase one was designed to conduct stakeholder consultations with Government Institutions, CSOs, and Development Partners to understand the current initiative and areas that may need support, while Phase two focuses on facilitating learning from the consultations and from research previously conducted on system design and teacher behavior. The learning aimed to enable key government officials and education-sector stakeholders to interpret the findings and align them with the current (2023-24) primary school curriculum.

The engagement generated practical insights to inform program design and strengthen evidence-based improvements in foundational learning.
